A laryngeal nerve or artery.— Inferior laryngeal, recurrent laryngeal, a branch of the pneumogastric nerve which reaches the larynx after winding around a large artery: on the right side of the body, around the subclavian; on the left, around the arch of the aorta. —Superior laryngeal, a branch of the pneumogastric nerve which pa es direct through the thyrohyoid membrane to the larynx.
