In Plant Anatomy, cavity of a cell. The most powerful predisposing causes of insanity are a bad nervous heredity and the increasing nervous pre ure of modern civilized life. The exciting causes are very numerous; e.g. , emotional shock, exhausting diseases of any kind, sexual and other exce es, childbirth, sunstroke, etc. Over sixty per cent of those suffering from the psychoneuroses recover. The prognosis in the physical degenerations is not so favorable and they tend to recur. The organic insanities (B.) rarely recover.
