Rhinophryne (rinofrine)

[NL., also Rhi nophrynus (Duméril and Bibron), Rhipidoglo a ther.] In ichth., a genus of rays of the family Myliobatidæ, having the snout emarginate, teeth in several series, and cephalic fins below the level of the disk. R. quadriloba is a cow-nosed ray, of great size, common on the Atlantic coast of the United States from Cape Cod southward. rhinorrhagia (ri-no-ra'ji-a), n. Peters, 1865), ῥίς ( ῥιν- ), nose, + φύλλον, a leaf.] A genus of very small South American phyllos to mine bats, having no tail.
