[Pref. un- (1), and English sectarian.] Not sectarian; not intended or used to promote any particular sect; not characterized by peculiarities or narrow prejudices of any sect. "His services to middle-cla schools and unsectarian elementary education." -Pall Mall Gazette , Feb. 1, 1888. Some religious bodies figure in the returns as Unsectarian. They do not constitute a separate sect.
