Lambeth Palace

In s. London; occupied by Abp. of Canterbury since 1197. The "Lollards' Tower" was built ab. 1434. The library is noted for its collection of rare books, in Lambeth Palace. cluding what was called the most valuable Koran of Asia when presented in 1805. The roof of the library is of finely-carved oak.
