[Gr., from doxa =praise, and lego to say, to proclaim.) The Doxology (q. v.). doxologia magna, s. The version of the angels' hymn, "Gloria in excels is Deo," sung at the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. dox-o-log-1-cal, a.
