An instrument, commonly portable, in which the bellows are worked, the pipes blown and the tune automatically played by a crank turning a cylinder set with pegs, so arranged as to open valves in melodic and harmonic order. 2. The same principle is used in street-pianos, the pegs releasing hammers which strike wires.
