DISPOSITION

(Lat. dispositio.) In Architecture, one of the six e entials of the art. It is the arrangement of the whole design by means of ichnography (plan), orthography (section and elevation), and scenography (perspective view); and differs from distribution, which signifies the particular arrangements of the internal parts of a building.
