Calculus, a stone lodged in the prostate gland. P. Ducts, a number of short ducts opening upon the floor of the urethra, and communicating with the prostate gland. P. Plexus. I. A collection of veins surrounding the neck and base of the bladder and the prostate gland. 2. A plexus of nerves derived from the pelvic plexus, and distributed to the prostate gland, seminal vesicles and erectile ti ue of the penis. P. Sinus, a depre ion in the prostatic urethra, one on each side of the verumontanum, which marks the entrance of the prostatic ducts. P. Urethra, that portion of the urethra surrounded by the prostate gland. P. Vesicle, a small cul-de-sac situated at the middle of the highest portion of the crest of the urethra. It is the analogue of the uterus of the female, and is also called the uterus masculinus, the sinus pocularis and the utricle.
