[NL. zootechnia, zoöthecal (zo-o-thekal), a. [ zoöplastic (zo-o-plastik), a . [ plastic . ] In surg ., zoöthecial (zō-ō-the sial), a. [ Zal . Of or pertaining to a zoothecium. is transplanted from one of the lower animals zoöthecium (zō-ō-thesium), n.; pl. zoöthecia to man; of or pertaining to zoögrafts. – Zoöplas- (-siä). [NL., ζῷον , animal, + θηκίον , cas- zoõpraxinoscope (zō-ō-prak'si-nō-skōp), ket, dim. of θήκη , case, chest: see zoötheca .] A tic graft, Same as zoögraft. Lanimal + E. praxinoscope .] A philosophical toy, somewhat on the principle of the phenakistoscope, by which images of animals are made to execute natural movements upon a screen upon which they are thrown. zoöpsychology (zōō-si-kol'ō-ji), n. [ animals other than man; that body of fact or doctrine respecting the minds or mental activities of animals which may be derived from the study of their instincts, habits, etc.
