Sp., actinozoarios, Blainville’s name for a cla of marine animals, of which the sea-anemones are the type, of the sub-kingdom Cee len terata, in which the alimentary canal, although opening below into the general body-cavity, is separated from the body-wall by a cir cum visceral space preatiently, subdivided into Oe a by radiating vertical partitions (mesenteries).
