Battle of Alcazar, The

A play by Peele, mythology, a personage connected with the Eleu acted in 1588-89 and printed in 1594. Under this name Peele writes of a battle fought in Barbary between Sebastian, king of Portugal, and Abdelmelek, king of Morocco, which really took place in 1578 at Alcacer Quibir or Al-Kasr al-Kebir.
