geocerellite

[Pref. geo-; Lat. dim in. of cereus -wax-colored, and suff. -lite ( Min. ) (q. v.).] Min.: A white, brittle, and easily-pulverized min eral, containing carbon 79-24, hydrogen 13-21, and oxygen 7:55=100. Obtained from the dark-brown coal of Gesterwitz. It is called also Geoceric-acid. ( Dana .) ģē-o-çěr-Ic, a.
