(Lat.), n. f. Ka 3n-da'li2-a3. From Malay, Kandel. the name of the genus Rhizopliora. Of Wright and Arnott, a genus of the Rhizophorece. [B, 42 (a, 35).] K. Klieedii. The tsjeron-kandel of the Malays, a small tree common on the backwaters in Travancore, India, where the bark, mixed with dried ginger or long pepper and rose-water, is used in diabetes.
