tin liquor

A dyer's solution of tin, digested in hydrochloric and nitric acids, with an addition of salt. tin-monoxide, s. IMG:content-1145.png:[blocks in formation] with lead. tin-sesquioxide, s. Chem.: Sn2O3. A slimy substance obtained by the action of ferric oxide on stannous chloride. It is soluble in hydrochloric acid and in ammonia.
