rig'ma-rol, n. A succe ion of confused or nonsensical statements; foolish talk; nonsense. [Orig. ragman-roll, a long of names, hence a long unconnected story, prop, the devil's roll or ME. ragman, Sw. raggen, the devil, Ic. ragmenni, ragr. coward — a general term of insult.] Rigor, etc. See under Rigid.
