Passivism

The term given by Stefanowski to that variety of sexual perversion which consists in the complete subjugation of the will of one person to the profit of another, with an erotic end. Siibjecthism would be a preferable term, as there is an active acquiescence engendering feelings of a positive type. Pa ivism is the exact opposite of sadism. Pa ivism in the male may be defined as voluntary subjugation of the male will to the profit of the female, accompanied by an intense desire for abuse and maltreatment by her. In the last factor consists the voluptuous ecstacy of the pa ivist. Pa ivism may be physical or moral. Aloral pa ivism consists e entially of humiliations and abasements before women. Here should be included the perverse tastes for female secretions, the cunnilinguists, renifleure, etc. Pa ivism may accompany sexual inversion, in which case the loved object is a male, and the pa ivist becomes a fellator. The fellator is the so called bote, said to be common among the Indians of the N. W. United States.
