Capers

Ellis on, an American clergyman; born in Charleston, S. C., Oct. 14, 1837. He entered the Protestant Episcopal ministry in 1867, and was chosen bishop of South Caralina in 1893. He died April 22, 1908, Cape St. Vincent, the S. W. point of Portugal.
