Truce

troos, n. (Mil.) A temporary ce ation of hos- for negotiation or other purpose; an armistice; intermi ion of action, pain, or contest; short quiet. A white flag exhibited by one of the Hostile parties, during the flying of which hostilities are suspended. — Truce'-break'er, n. One who violates a truce.
