Gift by will of personal property. It may be of a specific thing or of a portion of the estate; if specific it is subject to ademption, or extinguishment in case the thing is disposed of by the testator or destroyed: if general, it is subject to abatement if the a ets are insufficient to pay all. The time and manner of payment are generally regulated by statute.
