Hide and Seek

Child's game in which one of the players called It is blindfolded while the others hide. The one who is It then endeavors to spy the others, crying out the name, and touching the goal. If the one espied can first touch the goal he is free. The one first caught usually becomes It in the next game; common boys' game in Eastern Asia, where it is played in the same manner as in Europe and America. Hiel, EMANUEL, b. 1834.
