[ uroxin (u-rok's in), n. [ οὗρον , urine, + ὀξὺς , sharp, + -in2.] Same as alloxan tin . Uroxiphus (u-rok'si-fus), n. [NL., οὐρά , tail, + ξίφος , sword.] A genus of hemipterous insects; the swordtails. The walnut swordtail, U. caryæ , is an example.
