[NL., neut. pl. of eurystomatus: see eurystomatous.] An order of ctenophorans, having an oval or oblong body without oral lobes or tentacles, and a very large mouth, whence the name. and Neis are examples. eurystomatous (u-ri-stom'a-tus), a. eurystomatus, [ The two halves of the jaw are movably connected together in the eurystomatous Ophidii.
