(mln'-tser), Abb6 Joseph, teach- er. b. Tr , Germany, May 7, 1807; d. Manchester, England, Nov. 10, 1851. Educated at cathedral maitnse, ordained priest 1826; exiled during Polish revolution, went to Bru els, to Paris 1834, where he taught popular cla es and edited Chronique musicals, to London and Manchester 1847, where he established people’s singing cla es, wrote Music for the Million edited M’s Mus Times which became present Musical Times of London.
