Lap-welded wrought-iron pipe, made with special care for the smaller flues of steam boilers, or for the pa age of gases in multi tubular boilers. They differ from pipe only in being of thinner gauge for any diameter, and in being known by the outside diameter instead of the diameter of the bore.
