Oīleus

, a king of the Locrians. His father’s name was Odoedocus, and his mother’s Agria no me. He married Eriope, by whom he had Ajax, called Oileus from his father, to discriminate him from Ajax the son of Telamon. He had also another son called Medon, by a courtesan called Rhene.
