Interval

(in'-ter-val). A space or lapse either of time or distance, as the interval between the paroxysms of a fever, or between two organs or parts of the body. I., Focal, the distance between the anterior and posterior focal points. I., Sacro-cotyloid, a space existing between the promontory of the sacrum and the posterior part of the cotyloid cavity or acetabulum.
