MONOMANIA

(Lat.), n. f. Moan-o(o8)-ma(ma')'nia-a8. From novas, single, and pcua'a, madne . Fr., mono manic. Ger., Monomanie. Its subjects are peculiarly egotistical, hallucinatory, etc.; they show asymmetry of develop nent (especially as to the skull), clubfoot, etc. [D, 36.] Querulous m.
