(Lat.), n. m. Thi2r(thur)"e2- O(o3)-e2p-i2-glo2t(glot)-ti2d'e;!-u3s(u4s). A few fibres on the upper edge of the thyreo-arytaenoideus which are spread out upon the membrane between the epiglottis and the arytsenoid cartilage. [Douglas (L).] T.-e. inferior, T.-e. major. See T.-e. T.-e. minor, T.-e. superior. An anomalous muscle arising from the thyreoid cartilage and pa ing along the thyreo-epiglottic ligament to the epiglottis.
