À tribe, division, or family of aristolochiacous plants col nding in some cla ifications to the Asareæ of Duchartre, in others to the Aristo loc hieæ and Asareæ, and, in others, in eluding with the Asareæ Brag anti a and other genera usually placed in distinct tribes. 2. Of Kunth, a family of Apetalæ, including Asarum and Aristolochia. See ARISTOLOCRIACEÆ. 38.
