Wieniawski, Raff and Frau Schumann; 1884, won the Mendel ohn Scholarship; studied with Stanford, Sullivan, Bridge and Reinecke; played with succ. Leipzig, Berlin, etc.; c. an overture; a pf.-concerto; sonatas, etc. Her sisters (2) Alice and (3) Mathilde, also pianists, the latter known as Verne (d. London, June 4, 1936), a notable recitalist.and teacher.
