Lynx

Properly, Persian lynx ( Felis caracal ), size of a fox. They are arboreal and attack sheep and poultry. The species are not completely differentiated yet. F. rufa is the Wildcat of the U.S.; F. can a dens is is the Lynx of Canada; and there are two species on the Pacific coast. There is a Northern and a Southern species in Europe, likewise in Asia.
