Angioma

(an-jc-o' '-mah). A tumor formed of blood ve els. Called also Erectile or Vascular Tumor. A., Cavernous, with communicating alveolar spaces. See Varix, Cirsoid. Capillary and venous angiomata are called Nevi, or Mothers' A/arhs. A., Cystic. Synonym of Lymph angioma cir cum scrip tum. A., Infective. See A. serpiginosum. A. pig men to sum a trophi cum. See Xeroderma pig men to sum. A. serpiginosum, infective angioma; nevus hums; a very rare disease of the skin in which minute vascular points are formed in rings or other groups, that spread at the borders, while fresh points are continually developing beyond them. The points look like grains of cayenne pepper. It occurs usually in girls, but its etiology and pathology arc unknown.
