[Mod. Lat., dim in. from solen Zool. & Palæont.: A genus of Arcade (q.v.), with two species, from Val para i so and New Zealand. Shell nearly oval, valves pearly within, hinge ligament external; pallial sinus large and deep. Si phonal tubes united, long and slender, completely retractile.
