(Icelandic galleyda ). A one-decked ve el, navigated with sails and oars, in Heraldry called a Lymphad (q.v.). The prow of a galley (Fig. 344 ), one of the devices adopted by Cardinal Richelieu, may still be seen among the architectural decorations of his palace.
