klasp, n. A catch, for holding together the parts of anything; a close embrace.— v. t. [clasped (klaspt), clasping.] To shut or fasten together with a clasp; to embrace, grasp. — Clasp'er, n. One who, or that which, clasps, as a tendril. — Clasp-knife, -mf, n. A knife, whose blade folds into the handle.
