Pamphy̆lia

, a province of Asia Minor, anciently called Mopsopia , and bounded on the south by a part of the Mediterranean, called the Pamphylian sea , west by Lycia, north by Pisidia, and east by Cilicia. It abounded with pastures, vines, and olives, and was peopled by a Grecian colony.
