Asyndeton

(a-sin'de-ton.) (Gr. a, without, and syndeton, a bond.] (Rhet. and Pros.) A figure of speech which omits conjunctions or other connecting particles, in order to give greater spirit and force to the senience; as, Veni, vid i, vic i,' ' I came, I saw, I conquered.' [s. 56]
