Biographical note Bornet, his colleague, appeared Annales des sciences naturelles, N.E. canton, Switzerland; area, sq. miles; surface generally undulating drained by Thur, a tributary of capital, Frauenfeld; agriculture is cipal industry; livestock is raised, farming carried on; fruit and produced; manufactures leather, ens, cottons, embroidery; most inhabitants are Protestants; was ized as canton of Swi Confederation 1803.
