[Cf. ma é1.] In billiards, a sharp stroke made with the cue nearly or quite perpendicular, causing the cue-ball to return in a straight line or to move in a circular direction, the direction depending mainly upon the part of the ball to which the cue is applied. ma ena (ma-se'nä), n.
