An analysis yielded: Sulphuric acid, 43-26; sesquioxide of iron, 21.60; soda, 15:59; water, 15'35; impurities 426=100:06, which corresponds to the formula, Na2SO4+ [Fe2]S2O9+6 aq. sĩ-dër-ô-phyll-ite, s.
