Sir Benjamin, an English engineer, born near Bath, in 1840. In 1877 he superintended the removal of Cleopatra’s Needle from Egypt to London. In conjunction with Sir John Fowler he drew the plans for the great bridge over the Firth of Forth. He died May 19, 1907.
