Conveyance

Act of conveying or removing; the thing conveyed or removed; as, conveyance by railroad. -Means of carrying or transporting; transportation; transmi ion: removal; as, a vehicular conveyance, conveyance of dignities, . "The conveyance down of Adam's monarchical power."-Spenser. (Law.) A writing, sealed and delivered, whereby a property in lands and tenements is conveyed from one person to another. When the property in goods, or in a term of years, or other estate le than freehold, is pa ed by deed, the instrument of transfer is called an a ignment. The forms of C. vary widely in the various States.
