[Eng. sickish; -ne .) quality or state of being sickish. IMG:content-1425.png:[blocks in formation] 1. A popular name for the genera Drepanornis and Epimachus. 2. Eutoxeres, a genus of Humming-birds, with three species, from Central America, remarkable for their strong and greatly arched bills. When approaching a flower, like other Humming-birds, in a direct line, they no sooner reach the calyx than they alter the position of their body in a downward direction, so that they appear to be suspended from the flower by the tip of the bill. The sexes are a like in plumage, which is rather plain.
