[After Herr Schütz; suff. -ite ( Min.).] Min.: The same as CELESTITE (q. v.). Schûltz, s . [The name of the discoverer.] (See compound.) Schultz's test, s. A test for cellulose. It consists of a solution of chloride of zinc, iodide of pota ium, and iodine, and colors cellulose, if present, blue.
