JOHN, the Bohemian reformer, was bom about 1373. I n 1409 he became rector of Leipzig U ni versity. In 1410 he was excommunicated for denouncing papal indulgences, etc., and refusing to appear at Rome. At Hu inatz he wrote "On the Six Errors” and “ On the Church," a further attack on papal doctrines.
