koff in, n. The case in which a body is inclosed for burial. (Far.) The hollow part of a horse's hoof. (Print.) A wooden frame inclosing the stone on which forms are imposed. — v. t. [coffined (-find), -fixing.] To put into, etc.— Coffin-bone, n. (Far.) A horse's foot-bone inclosed within the hoof.
