(Lat.) In Mammalogy, is restricted to the second segment of the anterior extremity, which is articulated proximally with the scapula, f.nd distally with the anti brachium. In Entomology, signifies the first pair of legs of Hexapods, the direction of which is usually towards the head. [s. 176]
