Seine

a river of France, which rises in the department of Cote d'Or, and flowing by Troyes, Melun, Paris, and Rouen, falls into the English Channel, at Havre de Grace. Seine (Lower), a department of France, including part of the late province of Normandy. Rouen is the capital.
