Clyster

[Gr. kluzo, I wash out.) ( Med. ) A name given to certain medicines administered in a liquid form, by means of an injecting syringe, by the rectum, for the purpose of procuring evacuation of the bowels, or otherwise affecting the intestines or the system generally.
